Sang-Froid nominated as a finalist for the Canadian Game Awards

It was a huge surprise for us all when we heard that Sang-Froid was nominated as a finalist at the 5th edition of the Canadian Game Awards, in the “Best Indie Game of the Year” category!

As some of you may know, the making of Sang-Froid was not an easy ride to say the least, and we had to overcome many obstacles to make our dream of this game come true. If only we could have seen the future at the time, and know beforehand that our game was going to be nominated as one of the best indie games of the year by the Canadian Game Awards, it surely would have encouraged us!

That said, we’ll face stiff competition, with games such as Contrast, Don’t Starve, Guacamelee!, Inifinite, MacGuffin Quest, Outlast, Pocket Mine, Rogue Legacy and Super Stickman Golf 2. Our best wishes to all the finalists, good luck! As for us, we consider our nomination to be an accomplishment in itself.

The Canadian Game Awards is a yearly gala organized to celebrate the best videogames produced in Canada. The award ceremony will take place in Toronto, on November 21st 2014.
